DESCRIPTION:

This workshop will introduce you to basic hand embroidery stitches and how to use them creatively. You will learn how to use a range of textured threads and yarns to create hand embroidered flowers.

AIMS OF WORKSHOP: 

To introduce learners to creative hand embroidery using textured hand painted threads.

TUTOR’S BACKGROUND:

Kate is a passionate textile artist, dyer and tutor who takes inspiration from the beautiful flowers and landscapes of Northumberland and Cumbria. She loves creating hand painted yarns and threads in a range of colours, adding unique texture and character to her designs.
